Claire Hattersley
As a child, I was always drawing or painting, so it was inevitable that I ended up at art college doing a Fine Art degree. My first career was in exhibition design where I specialised in model making and graphics, mostly working for Nottingham Museums. When I became a homeowner, I re-discovered my green fingers, and a new passion for gardening was born (probably ancestral memory!) I found my way to Weleda via an RHS horticultural diploma and a well-placed job advert. I ended up gardening at Weleda for about 25 years where I learnt about biodynamics, herbs, conservation land management, holistic health… such a rich and nourishing experience. Last couple of years were as a member of Weleda’s wisdom circle. Married to Huw – fellow Fine Art graduate, and mum to Rowan (25 this year) who went to the Steiner School next door to Weleda’s Garden so that was meant to be!!! Now I’m very happily retired, walking and loving the Derbyshire hills and getting involved in local projects.

I really love getting old! I looked at the idea of dying young - when I was diagnosed with incurable aggressive cancer in my forties - and I decided against it. When I relapsed less than a year after the last-ditch Stem Cell Transplant treatment, they told me there was nothing left that they could do. So I got serious about my only chance of survival - a miracle. Today, nearly thirty years later, I am writing a book about all the naughty things I have done in my life and still managed to manifest multiple miracles. Miracles DO happen. You do not have to be a saint. If you are looking through the wrong lens, I can guarantee that the unique hope and encouragement that is there for you is not registering on your radar. https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=miracles do happen Do visit me on my Facebook page and let me know if miracles are showing up in your life.

Dr Alan Watkins
Rosy views Dr Alan Watkins as Britain's leading mind-body doctor, who having mastered the neuroscience, turned this into world-class interventions with the leaders of the world’s largest multi-national companies to enable them to perform better themselves, and to create a more purposeful society for us all. After qualifying in Medicine, Alan went on to take degrees in both Psychology and Immunology, to understand fully the relationship between how we feel, how we think, and how we perform at work and in our day-to-day living. Being fully committed to reducing human suffering at scale, he has focused his work since with those leading organisations, as he believes that with the right leadership thousands or even millions of lives can be affected through the organisation itself and its wider stakeholder community. Alan is a polymath who has turned his attention to analysis off some of the world's grittiest problems. He has 13 books in print and the 14th in process. One of his early books (1997) was ‘Mind-Body Medicine: A Clinician’s Guide to Psychoneuroimmunology.’ This was Dr Rosy Daniel’s first introduction to the science behind the mind-body connection, which she had been practising with clients for years through yoga, breathwork, relaxation, meditation and visualisation. And his early webinar teaching how to monitor and regulate our heart rate variability was a major revelation to Rosy, as finally she could see objectively the inter relationship between our emotions and the state of our nervous system which she had been teaching experientially. In this episode Alan will share with us his insights into the use of HRV monitors for the relief of lifestyle illnesses, the levels of stress within society, and the likely impact of this stress burden on lifestyle illnesses, human suffering and healthcare costs. Season 2 Bonus Episode 1 - Body | Spirit
November 18th 2025
Emma Chapman
Spirited jeweller Emma Chapman, has graced us with her story for the Podcast, and her presence in our Market Place, where you can see and purchase her exquisite pieces, inspired by and drawn from Indian sacred geometry, Mughal Art and floral patterns. In her Bonus Episode, she shares with us her healing transformation from burnout as a top media professional to full artistic self-expression and becoming an award-winning UK jeweller. After working as one of London’s leading Film and Theatre PR professionals for many years, Emma hit a wall and realised that she just could not go on. Over the course of a ‘weekend epiphany’ she worked out how to untangle herself from her commitments, and a month later she was in Southern India on a Yoga Teacher Training Course. Once feeling more grounded, she started a journey of exploration to find artisanal jewellery experts in Sri Lanka, Rajasthan and Nepal, and it was in Nepal that she created her first collection. On return to London after a year in India, she was introduced to Fashion Edition Hilary Alexander, who fell in love with her work and nominated her as the Best Emerging Jewellery designer. Winning this award led to her becoming a regular exhibitor at London Fashion Week and starting her own brand, Emma Chapman jewels. However, whilst back in London she felt increasingly disconnected from her creative source and made her way back to India, where she lived for ten years, getting ever more deeply engaged with the culture and people. Her quest for excellence took her on a profound journey of learning and exploration to find the finest goldsmiths and stone cutters working in the full spectrum of ancient Indian jewellery couture techniques. She is devoted to keeping the ancient skills of handmade heritage jewellery traditions alive. During this time, she won the trust of these collaborators and became fully embraced by their families. She in turn brought them financial support through good times and bad, supporting them equally through the bleak times of COVID. The level of love, creativity and craftsmanship in her work makes them future heirloom treasures, and those who invest in them can know that they can be supporting up to five craftsmen and their families in just one beautiful piece! Emma’s is a remarkable example of the emergence of her true self, moving from a life and workstyle dedicated entirely to the care and success of others, to changing entirely to taking the time and care to go deep inside and express her own true nature. We know that her story will provide inspiration to you all, and no doubt a tipping point for those of you ready to make that big leap into fully authentic living for yourselves!
